Deer Park Solar South, LLC – Proposed 2 MW Solar Photovoltaic Generating Facility

Pursuant to §1-601 of the Environment Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland and related Environmental Justice requirements under HB 1200 (2022), Deer Park Solar South, LLC will hold an informational public meeting regarding its proposed 2 Megawatt (MW) solar photovoltaic generating facility to be located in Garrett County at 5234 Maryland Hwy, Oakland, MD 21550.

This meeting is being conducted in accordance with Maryland’s Renewable Energy Certainty Act (RECA),which requires applicants to hold two informational meetings within the county served and within approximately 10 miles of the proposed project site prior to permit approval. A second informational meeting will be scheduled at a later date, and a separate public notice will be provided.
